Welcome! While we have just entered summer, we are already planning for the Fall - and have a lot in store! We will continue offering our Foundations, Practice Groups and other programming, but we are excited to spend more time in community! Our board would like to host an in-person Fall gathering, to be together in community and led by the community. More details below.

CCCO aims to serve YOU in your NVC journey, support our trainers in sharing NVC, and widen the community of those living and sharing NVC.

Foundations of Compassionate Communication

If you’ve taken our Free Intro to NVC, you’ve gotten a taste of what Compassionate Communication has to offer. Our quarterly Foundations of Compassionate Communication trainings fill in where the intro leaves off. You get informed, resourced steps to understanding and using NVC in your daily life. Stay tuned for announcements for in-person and virtual trainings.

Professional Development Training

So much of our life is spent in professional settings. How much understanding and empathy can we bring to our workplace interactions when we integrate Nonviolent Communication?

In Late Summer/Early Fall, we will be offering 5.5 hour Professional Development training, Collaborative Communication in the Workplace, to support you in your work and working relationships. We are currently organizing dates, so please complete this form to indicate your interest and make a request for dates.

CCCO has its roots in nurturing community around the teachings and practice of NVC. At our community conversation in 2024, a desire for a party and gathering with a festive atmosphere was requested!

And, it’s been a while since CCCO has met as a community face-to-face. We’re excited to be planning a Fall Community Gathering in Columbus, OH.

Dates, places and agenda/format have not been decided on yet, as we would LOVE to plan this with you. Let us know as well if you would like to be on the planning committee or serve as a volunteer. Free CCCO Offerings

This short video shares Marshall Rosenberg’s idea on “enjoying” other people’s pain. It’s a surprising way to phrase witnessing others, and Rosenberg explains what it really means.
